Revere is a small town in northern Italy, in the province of Mantua, surrounded by countryside and historic villages. While it is a quiet location, it is easily accessible from major Italian cities and airports.
For international guests who are visiting this part of Italy for the first time (or have seen very little of it), the best option is to stay in Verona.
Verona (stay) and trip by train for the Wedding day.
Verona is a great choice if this is your first time in the region or if you plan to extend your stay for a few days; easily reachable by train (or car), it offers a wide range of accommodation options as well as world-famous cultural landmarks.
Staying in Verona allows you to enjoy a beautiful and relaxed city on Friday and Sunday, while keeping travel on the wedding day simple and stress-free.
Verona is very well connected by train and airport links; It can be easily reached from Verona, Venice, Milan/Bergamo, and Bologna airports.
On Saturday, Revere can be reached comfortably by train:
a direct regional train connects Verona Porta Nuova to Ostiglia in approximately 30 minutes, with tickets costing around €6.
There is a convenient late-morning departure from Verona (10:26 a.m., at the latest) and an evening return from Ostiglia (10:03 p.m., at the latest), allowing plenty of time to enjoy the celebration
If several guests choose this option, we will be happy to organize a minibus service between Ostiglia station and Revere, both before and after the celebration.
This would allow you to attend the wedding without the need to rent a car, as mentioned in the transportation section below.

It can be reached easily by plane, train, or car from several major Italian airports and cities.
By Plane
The most convenient airports are:
- Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) – approx. 3 hours by car
- Milan Linate Airport (LIN) – approx. 2 hours 15 minutes by car
- Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) – approx. 2 hours by car
- Verona Airport (VRN) – approx. 1 hour by car
- Bologna Airport (BLQ) – approx. 1 hour 30 minutes by car
- Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) – approx. 1 hour 45 minutes by car
From all airports, Revere can be reached by rental car or by train via the main railway hubs listed below.
By Train
International travel (France / Switzerland / Northern Europe)
High-speed and international trains arrive at major Italian stations such as Milan Porta Garibaldi/ Centrale; where you can take Italian high-speed carriers (see: Trenitalia or Italo) toward Verona Porta Nuova / Bologna Centrale.
From these bigger stations, you can take regional trains (see again Trenitalia) towards Mantua or Ostiglia, which are the closest train stations for Revere.
By Car
Revere is easily accessible by car and well connected to the main motorway network.
Approximate driving times:
- Verona – 1 hour
- Bologna – 1 hour 30 minutes
- Milan – 2 hour 30 minutes
- Venice – 1 hour 45 minutes
Free parking is available near both the church and the reception venue.

As accommodation options in Revere are limited, we would like to suggest other two convenient areas (Ostiglia and Mantua) for your stay, depending on your travel plans and how much time you wish to spend in the region.
Ostiglia and nearby towns
Ostiglia is the closest town to Revere and offers a selection of hotels and B&Bs.
It is an ideal option for guests who wish to stay nearby and enjoy a quieter setting.

Mantua (Mantova)
If you have already visited Verona, we warmly recommend staying in Mantua, a UNESCO World Heritage city and one of northern Italy’s most elegant hidden gems.
Compact, refined, and rich in history, Mantua is perfect for a relaxed stay of one or more days.
Highlights include:
- Palazzo Ducale – a vast complex of courtyards, halls, and remarkable frescoes
- Palazzo Te – a Renaissance masterpiece by Giulio Romano
- Piazza delle Erbe & Piazza Sordello – the historic heart of the city
- The lakes surrounding the old town – ideal for scenic walks or bike rides
- Local cuisine – including tortelli di zucca, risotto, and traditional desserts
Mantua offers a wide range of hotels, B&Bs, and restaurants, most of them located within walking distance in the historic centre.

Depending on where guests will be staying, we may organize shared transportation from Mantua, Ostiglia, or nearby towns.
